Interesting video on the process of making lenses at the Leica factory. It's good that companies like Leica are still alive and able to carve out a niche amongst this swarm of digital camera manufacturers. I even read on LeicaRumours that they made a record profit of 248.9 million Euros last year, and they'll be able to pay shareholder dividends for the first time in over ten years!
I wish more of the great analogue camera companies would figure out a way to separate themselves from the rest of the pack. It breaks my heart to see them dying a slow death in the marketplace...
